The Raw Food Gourmet

It isn’t always necessary to heal through herbal remedies. Sometimes, food choices and simple dietary changes are all that is required to get your body back in balance.
Fresh, organic food is always delicious. There are innumerable ways to create appetizing delights from produce that can be grown in the garden or found in your local food co-op or farmer’s market.
Here is one of my favorite simple recipes for a tasty Green Smoothie that will help re-balance your body chemistry. It is very purifying, nourishing and surprisingly palatable.
Kathy’s Green Delight:

2 cups of Spinach1 Fuji Apple1 Organic pealed cucumber2 stalks of Celery1 Banana2 cups of water or apple juice1 inch of gingerYield : 2 quarts

Hi Kathy, I tried you green smoothy & really enjoyed it. I forgot to add the spinach and maybe added a bit to much ginger, but it tasted good. I’ll make sure the spinach gets in next time. How often can you drink this smoothie? Daily?
Do you have any other recipes to share. I’m just now dropping sugar from my diet as I’ve not been feeling well & have had low energy. My Chiropractor said I needed to drop the sugar. My adrenals are out of whack. I’d love to have any other ideas you my have for drinks or healthy organic dishes that you would like to share. Thank you!!!!?
